Bead Cruise 2011

OK, so it's quite possible that I am the last person to learn about the Bead Cruise (I blame it on living in Guam), but I just found it at http://www.beadcruise.com/ today. It looks awesome! 7 days and nights of beading classes and meeting other beaders is about as good as it can get... until you add the fact that it's on a cruise ship that stops at awesome tropical locations!!!

There are full and half-day classes that talk about everything from bead weaving to metal work... from pendants to collars to bracelets... Oh, how I yearn to go to this utopic place! Is anyone else out there planning on attending? What classes are you interested in? Have you gone on other bead cruises -- what was your experience like? This is very exciting to me!

Hi there! You will not ever be sorry for going on a bead cruise! :) Many of the techniques I know I learned on the 2 bead cruises I went on.They were SO much fun and educational! There is nothing like being in paradise with others who share your passion for beading

Kelly, that sounds like so much fun! I've never done a beading cruise, but I think I could become seriously addicted! LOL

I also wanted to let you know, I just gave you a blog award! Check it out and feel free to share the love with your favorite bloggers!

Dawn,
I know... doesn't it sound like pure perfection! I did a cruise once and loved it. However, I went a little stir-crazy on the full days at sea. Beading classes and lots of other beaders could definitely take care of the stir-crazy-ness! I'll have to see if it will work with my school schedule!

Lisa,
Thanks for the advice! I'm a self-taught beader and would love to learn some more difficult techniques, and I can't think of a better or more fun way than a bead cruise!
