So, generally I just make jewelry that appeals to me. Thus far, this method has worked well for me. However, my ultimate goal is to create jewelry that appeals to others... and that others will want to buy. So in an attempt to help me create pieces that others will like, consider taking part in this unofficial poll. Just leave a comment answering one or more of the following questions. I don't have anything to give away, but I would really appreciate your input... and who knows, the next piece of jewelry could be the one you fall in love with!
- What type of jewelry do you wear most often (earrings, bracelets, watches, necklaces, rings, etc...)?
- What style of jewelry do you prefer (elegant, simple, flashy, funky, etc...)?
- What colors do you like?
- What themes do you like included in your jewelry (flowers, geometric shapes, mod style, butterflies, birds, snowflakes, holidays, etc...)?
- What other things describe the jewelry you like?
I really appreciate your participation. I want to start broadening my offerings, but I'm not sure what people want. I live in Guam (no, really, I live in Guam) and am away from mainstream fashion for the most part.

I mostly wear earrings
I enjoy simple and elegant
I like flowers and geometric shapes
I love silver
Primarily I wear, in this order of frequency: rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets.
I utilize different styles of jewelry for different outfits/occassions.
Generally, I prefer use of metals, silver is my favorite with antiqued bronze as a second choice.
I like unique jewelry that combines metal and color. Generally, I gravitate toward pieces that have earthy or water inspiration.
My natural affinity is for blues and greens, but I also like warm, earthier hues.
Hey Kell! Great questions and I hope you get a great response! I wear Earrings & Rings mostly, and as you know I love, love, LOVE purple (and turquoise too).
I can't say I have any "themes" that I really like, but I do have tendancies to pair certain colors together... turquoise & purple as well as chocolate and pink.
Right now, I've got a little copper fetish going on, but mostly my jewelry is in the silver or white gold family.
Hope this helps! And hope your move comes soon! Have a terrific weekend!

I too make jewelry. I try to look at trends that are out there. A gd place to look is Kohl's they seem to have the color trends down. oops I just noticed you are in Guam which might make it difficult - look at the major stores online and see what color combos they have. Most young ppl like something edgy - made out of unique materials - washers, guitar picks teamed up with ribbons and cords etc. I personally only wear jewelry when I dress up and it is necklaces and earrings.

Stopping by from Friday Follow. :) I hope you stop by and do the same!
I make jewelry as well. I try to make jewelry that I love and that matches today's trends and colors. I find that I do well with my intuition! But of course, it's important to have input from others as well!
1. I wear earrings and necklaces most often. However, from selling my own jewelry, I find that wire wrapped rings and necklaces go like CRAZY!! Bracelets are iffy...I have sold a lot, but not as much as the others. I mostly sell earrings more so around the Holidays.
2. I prefer flashy and funky jewelry. I find that things that are chunky or vintage looking sell the best.
3. I love pinks and blacks...though I find traditional colors like reds, browns, yellows and blues sell the most.
4. I love anything as long as it appeals to me. I find the same with others who are looking to buy jewelry. However, people are looking for something different and eye catching.
I hope I helped from my own experience being a jewelry designer! If you need anymore advice, feel free to contact me! I've done pretty well for myself with my business.

Have a great weekend!
1. I wear a necklace and my wedding ring.
2. Funky/simple to wear
3. Black/Blues/Purple and glow in the dark (whenever possible). I love stuff that changes color.
4. Geometric shapes are always cool, and anything that is a conversation starter is exciting
5. Honestly, hard wearing. My day to day jewelry goes through hell. Also, things that will go with more than one look/colorway, and can be dressed up/down.
